Hi all.

I don't even know if this is possible, but is there a way to make my quicknote sounds, audio profiles, etc play in firefox? Ordinarily I wouldn't care, because I'd use IE, but IE's proving most uncooperative today. Hope someone can clear this up for me!

You know, I downloaded quick time alternative awhile ago, but for some reason out of the blue it stopped working today. Does anyone know why that would be? Do I need to update something?

i use quicktime. not alternative, but the proper one. it works a treat and it has done ever since i got it.

there should be a message that pops up when you try and enter the site saying you need something more to see all the site. if you press alt i in jaws, it should find the right programme and install it.

When I do that, it takes me to the apple website, and I don't know which thing to download, unless it's already checked the correct one.

you want to download quicktime, if thats all you want, Downloading itunes also includes quicktime but its not necessary unless you want to use iTunes as well. Quicktime alternative also should work, maybe you have to update it as well. www.filehippo.com is a good source to get all the little add ons you need for your windows machine in one place including quicktime and quicktime alternative.

Try Quicktime Alternative. I don't have a link off the top of my head, but Google it and you should be able to find it, or it might be available on jaws-users.com, on their programs page. That's definitely the way to go, considering the regular version is inaccessible anyway and will just take up space on your hard drive. QT Alternative is a lot smaller. If you need help configuring it for Firefox, PM me or ask away on this board, I'm sure I can help.
